Bitcoin troubleshooting

Some of the common issues with your Bitcoin (BTC) inside of Exodus wallet and how to fix them.

How do I recover Bitcoin (BTC) sent to my Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet?

These instructions only work using the desktop version of Exodus.

Click on the wallet icon.

Next, navigate to the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet and select it.

Click on the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of your BCH wallet.

Select the Sweep for Bitcoin option from your Asset Menu:

Sweeping your BCH wallet for BTC will incur a Bitcoin network fee.

Your Bitcoin (BTC) will be moved to your Exodus BTC address, and you will see it in your wallet’s balance.

How do I recover Bitcoin (BTC) sent to my Bitcoin SV (BSV) wallet?

Click on the wallet icon.

Next, navigate to the Bitcoin SV (BSV) wallet and select it.

Click on the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of your BSV wallet.

Select the Sweep for Bitcoin option from your Asset Menu:

Sweeping your BCH wallet for BTC will incur a Bitcoin network fee.

Your Bitcoin (BTC) will be moved to your Exodus BTC address, and you will see it in your wallet’s balance.
