How do I swap old Aragon (ANTv1) to new Aragon (ANT)?

When was the Aragon network token migration?

In October 2020, Aragon had an upgrade where it migrated to a new smart contract. The Aragon team replaced old Aragon (ANTv1) with a new Aragon (ANT) token. Aragon v1 could be swapped for the new Aragon at a 1:1 ratio.

Why do I see old Aragon (ANT) and new Aragon (ANT) in my Exodus wallet?

The Aragon team has kept the same name for the new token: Aragon (ANT).

So you’ll see two wallets in Exodus that will hold the old and new Aragon:

Aragon (old) (ANTv1) – old token
Aragon (ANT) – new token

How do I swap from old Aragon (ANTv1) to new Aragon (ANT)?

To swap your old Aragon (ANTv1) to new Aragon (ANT), you can follow the swap process.

Mobile:

Open your old Aragon (ANTv1) wallet.

Tap on the Advanced Options icon in the top right corner.

You can now see the screen to Claim Aragon. You will need some ETH to pay network transaction fees for this claim. Tap Claim.

Do not close Exodus until you see the Success! screen (should not take more than a few minutes).

That’s it! Once the swap is complete, you can go to your new Aragon wallet to view your newly deposited ANT tokens

Desktop:

Open your old Aragon (ANTv1) wallet.

a) Click the More options menu in the top right-hand corner. Then b) click Claim ANT.

You will need some ETH to pay network transaction fees for this swap. To confirm, click Claim.

Do not close Exodus until you see the Swap Successful! screen (should not take more than a few minutes).

That’s it! Once the swap is complete, you can see your new ANT tokens in your Aragon (ANT) wallet.
