What is MoonPay?
MoonPay makes it simple to buy crypto using your credit or debit card. It launched in 2019 with the aim of increasing cryptocurrency adoption. MoonPay is available in more than 160 countries.
You can buy crypto using MoonPay in Qadirah Mobile, Qadirah Desktop, and Qadirah Web3 Wallet! Your Qadirah wallet connects to MoonPay so that you can buy crypto quickly and easily.

How do I buy crypto with MoonPay?
MoonPay is available in regions where Ramp is unavailable.
Moonpay, Ramp, and Sardine are third-party platforms. As such, Qadirah cannot guarantee the performance of their products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.
Mobile
In Qadirah Mobile, tap the Buy & sell crypto icon.
Tap Buy Crypto.
Next, select your payment method. Tap either a) Bank Transfer ($10,000 limit), b) Debit Card ($5,000 limit), or c) Apple Pay ($5,000 limit).
On the Buy Crypto screen, a) select the currency you want to use, b) enter the amount you would like to purchase, then c) select the cryptocurrency you wish to purchase, and d) choose your desired third-party fiat API provider (if available). When ready, e) tap Continue.

a) Enter your email address, and b) tap Continue.
a) Enter the verification code sent to your email, b) check the box to agree to MoonPay's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, c) then tap Continue.
a) Enter your name, date of birth, and nationality. Then b) tap Continue.
a) Enter your billing address, then b) tap Continue.
a) Enter your cellphone number, then b) tap Continue.
a) Enter the verification code sent to your cellphone, then b) tap Continue.
You will then be prompted to verify your identity. All customers, regardless of the amount spent, are required to go through the verification process. Prepare for verification by positioning yourself in good lighting and having a passport, national ID card, or driver's license ready. When you're ready, tap Continue.
If you’ve gone through the KYC process before and are using the same email address, you will not need to go through the verification process again and can skip to step 16.
Continue through the remaining steps until you have completed the verification process.
Once complete, you'll reach a screen informing you that your verification is in progress.
When the verification process has been completed, you will receive an email with the subject line Your identity has been verified. To continue, tap Complete transaction.
Confirm your billing details. If you need to change the address, a) uncheck the Use the address I have on file box and enter in the new info. When ready, b) tap Continue.
Enter your card information and tap Continue.
Review your order details. a) To see the breakdown of your fees, tap on the Summary dropdown arrow. b) Check the box to agree to the Terms of Use, and c) tap Buy now.
And that’s it! You’ll receive an order confirmation email from MoonPay, and your crypto will generally arrive between 5-20 minutes.
Your information will be saved with MoonPay, making your future purchases faster and easier.

In Qadirah Desktop, click the Buy Crypto icon.
a) Select the fiat currency you want to pay and b) choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy. c) Enter the fiat amount or the amount of crypto you wish to receive. d) Click Continue.

In Qadirah Web3 Wallet, you can purchase tokens on Ethereum, Solana, and other supported networks.
In Qadirah Web3 Wallet, click the Buy & Sell icon.
On the Buy & Sell screen, select a) Buy and b) enter the amount you want to purchase, then c) select the cryptocurrency you wish to purchase.

Next, a) choose your desired payment method and b) third-party fiat API provider (if available). When you're ready, c) click Continue.

What payment types can I use with MoonPay?
MoonPay accepts several forms of payment depending on where you’re located.
- Credit or debit card – available globally. MoonPay supports Mastercard, Visa, and Maestro.
- Apple Pay – available globally.
- Google Pay – available globally (only on Android devices).
- SEPA and SEPA Instant – available in SEPA countries.
- UK Faster Payments – available in the UK.
- PIX – available in Brazil.

How do I select a third-party fiat API provider?
Moonpay, Ramp, and Sardine are third-party platforms. As such, Qadirah cannot guarantee the performance of their products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.
n Qadirah, you can buy crypto with either Ramp, MoonPay, or Sardine, depending on your region and local crypto regulations.
In some cases, you have the option to select a third-party fiat API provider.
You will see the option to choose your third-party fiat API provider if:
- The best price is available through the other provider, but you haven’t completed KYC with them.
- You haven’t completed KYC with either provider.
You won’t see the option to choose your third-party fiat API provider if:
- You have KYC’d with all providers. In this case, you’ll only see the provider with the best rate.
- You have completed KYC with the provider that has the best rate.
You can follow the below steps to choose between Ramp, MoonPay, or Sardine if the option is available.
Selecting a payment provider is available in Qadirah Mobile and Web3 Wallet.
Mobile
If you have the option to select a third-party fiat API provider, you will see an arrow next to the rate and provider name. Tap it to change the third-party fiat API provider.
From here, you are able to choose between Ramp and MoonPay, or Sardine if available.

If you have the option to select a third-party fiat API provider, then the provider name will be highlighted. Click it to change the third-party fiat API provider.
From here, you are able to choose between Ramp, MoonPay, or Sardine if available.

What are the fees for buying crypto with MoonPay?
When purchasing through MoonPay, fees will be included in the total amount shown on the purchase screen.
MoonPay also includes a network fee to cover transaction costs. This fee goes to the miners or validators of that blockchain, not MoonPay. You can read more about how network transaction fees work in our Knowledge Base article.
If you choose to pay $100 USD, that is all you will be charged.
You can see any fees before you submit an order on the order confirmation screen. Tap the Summary dropdown to see the fee details.
Fees will change in response to market conditions.
How do I find my MoonPay order ID?
If you have a question about your purchase and need to reach out to MoonPay’s support team, you can give them your order ID to help them help you faster. Here’s how to find it.
Open a browser on your mobile device, go to moonpay.com, and tap the menu icon.
Tap Buy crypto.
Tap the second menu icon.
Tap Trade history.
From here, you can see your trade history and the order ID for each order.
Currently, it is not possible to see your MoonPay order history inside Qadirah.
Why isn’t my order going through?
Generally, your crypto will arrive between 5-20 minutes.
Some transactions may take a few hours to complete. This is especially true if it’s your first purchase, as MoonPay may need to conduct additional checks to ensure the security of its customers.
You can check the status of your order at any time by clicking the transaction tracker link sent in your order confirmation email. You can also go to MoonPay’s website and use the Trade history to look up the status of your order.
The tracker will inform you of the status of the transaction, if it failed for any reason, or if MoonPay requires extra information to complete your order.
If your transaction has been stuck for a few hours and there’s no clear action to take, contact MoonPay support. When completing the Contact us form:
Select Cryptocurrency Buy transactions.
In the dropdown menu, select Transaction pending for a long time.
What are the order limits for using MoonPay?
Currently, there are no advertised order limits for MoonPay. If your order exceeds MoonPay’s limits, then MoonPay will reach out directly for more information and steps to move forward with the order. You can read MoonPay’s stance on this in their documentation.
